Direct Placement was established in 2009 in the home of Adam Vanderpool. His personal commitment to excellence, hard work, leadership and dedication led to constant growth for the business that would eventually become Direct Placement. As the company continued to grow beyond expectations, it quickly became necessary for a more formal business structure to be put in place, and so Direct Placement, LLC was formed.
Adam is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and participates in the national Buy Veteran Program. He has two beautiful daughters and he spends his time treasure hunting, traveling, meeting clients and spending time with his family. He believes that small businesses are the lifeblood of our economy and strives to help them grow. He owns multiple other businesses and is always looking to find the next great idea. Adam is also a die-hard Oregon Ducks football fan!
Adam’s leadership was publicly recognized most recently at the 2013 Portland Business Alliance’s yearly celebration for the 100 fastest growing private companies in Oregon & SW Washington. Direct Placement, LLC came in 7th with a growth percentage of 498.8% over the last 3 years.
Director of Operations
Dianna has several years experience working in human resources. Over her career, Dianna has worked at the Albertsons’ Distribution Center, Regence BlueCrossBlueShield of Oregon, and the American Red Cross.
One of Dianna’s favorite quotes that directs her in the day to day work of assisting both employers and employees is:
“To love what you do, and feel it matters, how can anything be more fun?”
Dianna’s favorite past times are her family which is made up of one husband of 28 years, three sons and nine grandchildren. Dianna also enjoys challenging herself physically by such activities as participating in the Hood to Coast Relay.
Allie began her career at Direct Placement, LLC in 2010. As an Internet Marketing Advisor in the sales department, Allie excelled at identifying successful businesses ripe for increased growth through an advanced online marketing plan. Allie became increasingly interested in the technical side of internet marketing while cultivating a competitive internet presence for her clients. Her inquisitive nature led Allie to pursue an administrative position, where she developed a comprehensive understanding of online marketing’s many facets.
As her skills and knowledge grew to match her interest, Allie was promoted to head the placement department. Her managerial achievements led to an increase in responsibility by supervising the growing billing department. In January 2016, the placement and billing departments divided, with Allie accepting the Billing Manager position where her love of organization and numbers is fully realized.
Allie’s educational accomplishments include Google AdWords Certification, Bing Ads Accreditation, and Yext Certification. In her search for superior knowledge, Allie received a diploma from Shaw University in Online Marketing. Allie has a loving family at home with her fiancé, and their adopted, four-legged child: a Chihuahua named “Gangster.” They spend their free time exploring the town together. Most importantly, they pursue the goal of walking to each neighborhood restaurant, satisfying their foodie desires while working off the calories.
