Direct Placement was originally established in the home of our CEO, Adam Vanderpool, back in 2009. The company eventually evolved into a more formal business structure, Direct Placement, LLC, in 2010 as the company and industry grew beyond all expectations. We were then recognized at the 2013 Portland Business Alliance’s yearly celebration for the 100 fastest growing private companies in Oregon & SW Washington. Direct Placement, LLC came in 7th with a growth percentage of 498.8% over the last 3 years. We believe that our success lies with our hard-working, professional staff. We pride ourselves on a strong work ethic and unrelenting efforts to provide our clients with the best possible service. But, before we can start using our service to help a company achieve their marketing goals, we know that consumers will look to other sources for information about our company before they decide to do business with us.
In 2017, Forbes released an article about online business reputations reporting that, “90% of consumers read online reviews before visiting a business” and “84% of people trust online reviews as much as a personal recommendation.” These statistics demonstrate just how large of an impact a business’ online reputation has become. Consumers expect to be able to research a company online as they make their purchasing decisions. Plus, the information they find has been known to make a significant impact in their actions. The same Forbes article went on to report that, “Online reviews have been shown to impact 67.7% of purchasing decisions.” This means that in this new digital era, businesses expecting to do business online need to have information and reviews about their services or products readily available online.
